Andrew Bird Asheville Concert reviews
Disappointing experience
Not sure what happened…I have seen both Iron and Wine, Andrew Bird in concert multiple times each over the course of the last 15 years. This show was not the caliber of performance that they are both capable of giving as musicians. Sam Beam needed his band, and honestly his set was a bore. Andrew Bird started off his set with energy, but that didn’t last long. When they performed together, it was lackluster… it was apparent they hasn’t spent much time rehearsing together. The Greek Theatre has amazing views of the bay and the acoustics are good for an outdoor venue. We came from out of town to celebrate Father’s Day and sadly, the show did not come close to meeting our expectations.
